The catalog NIXNUTZ CLIMAX was created in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name at Haus Mödrath – Räume für Kunst. Across roughly 200 pages, John Bock, in collaboration with Haus Mödrath, presents an extensive selection of his work from the past 20 years. The 20 installations (Summenmutationen) and 29 films shown in the exhibition are vividly and meticulously documented in the catalog through numerous color photographs and a selection of black-and-white images, further complemented by film stills. Following the atmospheric introductory text, readers are immersed in a vast cosmos of images entirely in keeping with Bock’s signature artistic vision.
